HVCA FUNDRAISING CASINO

Our largest fundraiser – the biennial Casino Fundraiser – will happen this year the weekend of June 24th and 25th.  We require over 45 volunteers for this activity. These volunteers help run AGLC-licenced casino operations from which the HVCA receives a portion of the quarter’s proceeds. That income to the HVCA provides funding for our sports programming and maintenance of shared community spaces at the rink and our park spaces for 2022 to 2024.

Membership in the Hidden Valley Community Association is optional for individuals and families who live in Hidden Valley and Hanson Ranch – we are not a homeowner’s association, and fees are neither assessed nor automatically collected from homeowners or renters.  Only when residents participate in organized programs like hockey or soccer are membership purchases required.

Every other program and amenity in the community – such as annual beautification and holiday lighting projects, maintenance of the ice rink, advocacy for replacement or changes to park spaces, providing the soccer and hockey programs, and any events for families and residents – such as events to bring our community back together, getting to know our neighbours, and to mark the community’s 25th Anniversary – are only possible when funded through membership fees and fundraising events.
